How 2 Hours Saved Me 10 (AI Training Inside)
💸📝 💸📝

Welcome to The WealthWriter…let’s talk money!
Every week I seek to gain more and more LEVERAGE
But so many people have this wrong.
They think its about doing less work and getting over. The idea of leverage makes some folks lazy. Not us!
Leverage is about getting output from the same input and it requires work up front.
Let’s talk about it…

Wealthy Word of the Week
Leverage (finance version)
Leverage is you using borrowed resources—like capital, debt, tools, or labor—to multiply your results without multiplying your effort.
Wealthwriter Interpretation - Think of leverage like using a scredriver, hammer or pliers instead of your bare hands. The right tool doesn’t change the task—it just makes it exponentially easier to move things with less strain.
Wealthwriter Tip - Next time you're explaining value to a client, don't just talk about assets—talk about leverage points for a better future. Educate your clients on how the real ROI often comes from using tools that do the heavy lifting for them.

How AI Leveled Me Up
Believe it or not, AI isn’t here to take your job.
It’ll do one of two things instead:
Make your job easier
Expand your skills so you can move into a better-fitting one
Last weekend, it did both for me.
The Backstory
A friend of mine works at the Fed. Smart guy. Runs financial models by day, advises a few private clients on the side.
His biggest bottleneck?
Writing compliant emails.
He doesn’t have time to write.
And when he does, he’s stuck double-checking every word.
It’s not just perfectionism—it’s regulation.
Where I Started
I broke the problem down into parts:
Subject line
Preview text
Body
Signature
If the subject line doesn’t land, nothing else matters.
So I built from the top down. Here’s the video demo
Step 1: Give Him Something to Copy
I scraped, rewrote, and organized a list of compliant subject lines he could plug in or tweak fast.
It wasn’t the ultimate solution—but it bought him time.

Step 2: Reverse-Engineer the Hits
Next, I asked AI to analyze the top-performing subject lines.
What made them pop?
What made them pass compliance?
What made readers actually click?
It gave me a scorecard matrix.

That’s when it hit me:
What if this matrix could rate subject lines in real time?
Even better—rewrite them?
Step 3: Build the Bot
I turned that matrix into a CustomGPT.
Trained it on compliance-safe language
Fed it subject line frameworks for financial professionals
Named it Hook$mith—because subject lines are the front lines

Screenshots below show how I trained it.

Step 4: Upload + Ship
Using GPT’s new builder, I uploaded all the training data and organized the prompts.
Start to finish? Less than 2 hours.
Now my friend can:
Brainstorm 5 subject lines in 30 seconds
Get instant ratings based on tone, clarity, and compliance
Hit “send” with confidence

So What’s the Lesson?
AI isn’t your competition—it’s your leverage.
It won’t replace the nuance of your voice or your strategy.
But it will free you up to focus on what matters.
In my case: thinking, building, and supporting clients with better marketing.
Want to try it?
If you’ve got digital tasks in your business that…
Bog you down
Drain your energy
Keep you stuck in low-leverage work
...we can probably build a CustomGPT or automation to handle it.
